Development and delivery of generic software-specific and customized client-specific training programs. Design and implementation of in-house documents, documentation procedures and templates. -- Served as Project Manager for $300,000 eight-month software implementation project for a Fortune 500 client. -- Developed and delivered customized training programs resulting in client sales exceeding $25,000 in new business. -- Designed and maintained company's web-site increasing inquiries by more than 350% resulting in $75,000 increase in revenue in first half of 1999. -- Created and documented new employee procedures including time cards, client billing and status reporting templates ensuring accurate record keeping, accounts receivable and payroll records. LARGO POLICE DEPARTMENT LARGO, FLORIDA Terminal Agency Coordinator 1986 - Present Responsible for managing department of 30 dispatchers in areas of training, testing and maintaining nationally mandated certifications, new procedure implementation and documentation requirements. Supervised communications shifts of up to 30 Patrol units handling non-emergency and emergency calls to include hostage and crisis negotiations. Managed Training and Development for Communications and Patrol divisions regarding communications procedures. -- Designed procedures and documentation to track and maintain audit-trail of persons and property entered into state and national databases as lost, missing or stolen, becoming prototype for 140+ agencies statewide. -- Assisted with development and writing of procedures to convert Communications Department from reaction-based traditional policing methods to meet new customer-satisfaction based Community Policing methodology. -- Selected as Chairman of Department's Disciplinary Review Board serving for 18 months. -- Wrote and implemented in-house training system for up to 120 persons maintaining nationally mandated certification and knowledge requirements. -- Developed hiring and testing procedures for applicant process resulting in significant reductions of failed candidates and costs. BARAT COLLEGE LAKE FOREST, ILLINOIS Director of Security 1979 - 1984 Responsible for supervision of 10-member department with annual budget of $350,000 for women's college. Managed all Human Resource functions to include recruitment, training, performance review, discipline and employee termination. Maintained compliance of local, state, and federal health and safety regulations. -- Created, staffed and equipped new Security Department. -- Designed and implemented security, fire and safety procedures and documentation policies resulting in increased safety and security of residents and commuters. Resident enrollment subsequently increased by 25% annually in first two years.
